Import or Update or Export Workflows

You can import or update or export workflows, if required. Click respective tabs for details.

You can import workflows of another tenant if you want to use them. The workflows are imported as zip file.

note

A project exported from Process Studio cannot be imported or updated directly on an AutomationEdge instance.

To import a workflow:

  1. In the menu, click Workflows → Workflow List. The Workflows page appears.

  2. On the page, click Import. The Create New Workflow page appears.

  3. Enter the following field details:

    Field nameDescription
    Workflow Name *Enter a name of the workflow.
    Version TagEnter the version tag. For example, 1.0.
    Workflow Description (Maximum 128 Characters) *Enter a description for the workflow.
    Workflow CategorySelect the category to which you want to upload the workflow.
    Assisted WorkflowSelect the checkbox if you want to make the workflow as an assisted workflow.
    Enable RDPSelect the checkbox if you want the workflow to be RDP enabled.
    Select Workflow File(.zip) *Click, browse, and select the zipped workflow file that you want to import.

    *Indicates a mandatory field.

  4. Click Show file content. The content of the zipped workflow appears.

  5. Click Create. The workflow is imported and the Update Workflow page appears.

  1. Update the workflow details and click Save. The workflow appears on the Workflows page.

  2. In the Status column, toggle the switch to activate the workflow. The import process is complete.
