About the User's guide

The User’s guide is a combined information document for Admin, Workflow Administrator, User Administrator, Agent Administrator, Tenant User, and so on.

Important

The Admin is the super user amongst other users, therefore, the AE feature usage is explained using the Admin role. For details about role-based feature permissions, see System Defined Roles in Work with Roles.

Intended audience

The guide is useful for users who have the user roles, such as Admin, Workflow Administrator, User, and so on and are using the AutomationEdge server.

Document conventions

  1. Run Process Studio, the AutomationEdge Connection Details dialog appears.
  2. In the dialog, click Sign In with SSO. The SSO sign in details dialog appears.
  3. Enter your tenant code in Tenant Organization Code and click Next. The AutomationEdge server connection is initiated.

Document organization

The user's guide contains several chapters. Each chapter includes topics that are divided into three sections:

  • Overview: provides the outline of the task.

  • Procedure: provides the instructions to perform the required tasks.

  • Field Details: provides information about the fields on the page.
