Add User to Group

Description

This step adds a user to an existing group in Jira. You provide the group name and the username. Use this step in onboarding workflows that assign new team members to the correct Jira groups, or in access management workflows that grant group-based project permissions.

Configurations

Step NameSpecify name of the step. This name must be unique in a single workflow.

Username/Account IDSpecify the username or account ID of the user to be added to a group.
The value must be a string, and this field is mandatory.
Note: For JIRA Cloud, you can find the Account ID in the user profile URL.

Group NameSpecify the name of the group to which the user will be added.
The value must be a string, and this field is mandatory.
GetClick Get to select a group from the available list.
The list displays up to 100 groups.
