About AutomationEdge Process Studio

The AutomationEdge (AE) platform has three major components: Process Studio, Agent, and Server.

Process Studio is the developer's studio that offers drag-and-drop capabilities and minimizes the need to write a program or a script while building business processes. It has a rich library of plugins to access, prepare, and blend data from disparate data sources and enterprise applications.

In Process Studio, you can create a business process either as a workflow or a process.

• Workflow: A workflow is about moving and transforming rows. The steps in a workflow execute in parallel.

• Process: A process is about high-level flow control. For example, executing workflows, sending mails on failure, and transferring files through FTP. The steps in a process execute sequentially.
