Common activity

In the topic, you will learn about the common activities which are similar throughout the AutomationEdge server.

Use the simple search to list specific records or details of any feature, as required.

To perform search:

  1. In the menu, click the feature from which you want to search the record. For example, Plugins.

  2. In the submenu, click Plugins. The Plugins page appears.

  3. On the page, enter the search criteria in the search box, for example, search for plugins listed on the page having dr in their name. The list of plugins having dr in their name appears.

  • To clear the search box, click clear .

  • If you search for other records, then the previous search history appears in the search box list.

If you have a huge amount of information, then advance search allows you to apply filters and helps to narrow down the search.

Note

Currently, Advanced Search for Workname, Agent Name, and Source columns are case sensitive on the Requests page only.

Known issue: The case sensitive feature does not work as expected if the database is MSSQL.

To perform advanced search:

  1. On the page, click Advanced Search. The fields to enter filter criteria appear.

  2. Enter the following field details:

    Field nameDescription
    Column NameSelect the column on which you want to search for the details. For example, Role.
    CriterionSelect the comparator criterion on which you want to search for tenant details. For example, equal to.
    Search PhraseEnter the phrase on which you want to search for the details.
  3. Click Apply Filter. The filter is added based on which the details are fetched.

    Note

    Click groups to create a group and add condition to the group.

    You can add different conditions to the group.

    To remove the conditions, click remove .

    To clear the filter criteria, click Clear Filters.

  4. Click Search. The search result based on the filter criteria is displayed.

    To clear the filter criteria, click Remove Filters.
