Dropbox: Modify Shared Link

Description

Use the step to modify the shared link with custom settings on Dropbox.

Note:

Folder setting will not work for link with View access.

Configurations

Field nameDescription
Step NameSpecify a unique step name.
CONNECTION tab:Connection fields
App KeySpecify the application key of the Dropbox application.
The data type is secure string. This field is mandatory.
App SecretSpecify the App Secret of Dropbox application.
The data type is string. This field is mandatory.
Refresh TokenProvide the Refresh Token generated by using connection documentation.
INPUT tab:Input fields
File Or Folder LinkProvide the file or folder link to modify.
Access LevelProvide the requested access level to the shared link.
Allowed values: viewer, editor, max
Remove ExpirationProvide Yes or No.
This field is used to remove the shared link’s expiration, if exists.
Allowed Values: Yes, No
Shared Link Expiry DateSelect the expiry timestamp to the shared link.
Format:- MM/DD/YYYY
Who Has AccessProvide access permission to view the file or folder with the link to users as required.
Allowed values: AneyonewithLink, TeamMembers, no_one, People with Password
Default value: AnyoneWithLink
Require PasswordProvide the password to access the link.
Allowed values: Yes or No
Note: The field is available only if either, editor or max is selected as the access level.
Default Value: No
Shared Link PasswordProvide the password for shared link.
Disable DownloadSelect the option to control download permission using shared link.
Allowed Values: Yes, No
Folder MembershipSelect the limit who can be added as a member of the folder.
Allowed values: Anyone, TeamMembers
Default Value: Anyone
Manage AccessChoose who can add the people to the folder.
Allowed values: Owner, TeamMembers
Default value: TeamMembers
Link RestrictionsSelect to prevent non-members from accessing the folder through the link.
Allowed values: Anyone, Members
Default values: Anyone
Viewer InfoSelect Yes to allow team members and users with edit permission to view who has the files in the folder. Else, select No.
Allowed values: Yes, No
Default values: Yes
OUTPUT tab:Output fields
Modified Shared Link URLOutput field to hold the modified shared link URL to be created.
